If it is a new pet, there is nothing to worry about. If it has been in the same tank for more than two weeks, try slipping some small earthworms into the water.
My yellow cheek turtle wont go swimming he always stay at the bank and when he is in the water he floats around and stretches his legs. He wont eat also.
