OK ignore cream. use some chicken wire because yes they will run away. keep them outside, never inside unless storming or if there are animals that will eat them. cover the play pen because hawks might get them as well. <(")

I've never heard of ducks for pets. I hope you won't be stealing them from their mother. Oh yea, all pets at the pet store ARE stolen from their mother.

Having pets is immoral. Dogs are inherently domestic animals, anything else is not.

I'm getting a few mallard ducklings next month, and I was wondering how I should let it play outside. What kind of enclosure can I use, like a playpen? And if I let it freely roam, will it run away? I don't want them to get hurt outside, so I want to find the safest way possible.
