I have a couple of canaries male and female and I also thought once you put a female inside the male cage he would stop singing but for some reason my male still sings on and off. But the female has been sitting for two weeks and we noticed one egg under her but the other day when she got up to eat we noticed the egg was gone! She still sits in her nest but with no egg- Any explanation??
The female sits in the nest while the male kisses her. however he does not pass her food. the male used to sing but when i introduced it to the female he stopped is this normal?
