They best thing you could do is pluck those feathers out. Those feathers won't grow back to normal unless they are plucked and new ones grow back. It may sound a bit heartless but it's the best thing you could do. They would grow back within a month

I rescued a baby pigeon about a month ago and he has just grown almost all of his feathers however he has stress bars on a lot of his tail and flight feathers which cuased the tips of his tail feathers to be weak and alot of them fell out leaving only the sides of his tail feathers and it looks realy wierd. Will they ever get back to normal? If so, how long will it take?
