Will bleach and boiling water kill banana spider egg sacs?

Yeah they're dead. Bleach Kills All!

The odds of finding the bad banana spider eggs are practically nil. Usually they are eggs from harmless local spiders.

Just wipe/rinse them off, and enjoy your bananas.

Yes, any spiderlings are dead.

Lol....I love the Irish more than any people in the world but you guys sure do freak out about spoders and snakes.

Just step on the sacs, I promise it will work.

Or fire 600 rounds from your armallite, that should work too.

Here's a thought. Instead of going through all that trouble... just throw the banana into the sea, trash can, flush it down the toilet, burn it in a fire, bury it alive.. I don't know. There's way easier ways to dispose of it.

I personally recommend that you contact a pest control specialist and ask him/her what should be done

I found a spider egg sac on my banana today (I live in Ireland) that were just bought from the supermarket and I thought it best to kill the eggs in the sac before they hatched into some mad African tarantula. I put the banana with the sac on it into a jar and then poured in some bleach and filled with boiling water. Then I put the lid on the jar and brought it outside. Will this work in killing the spider eggs? I noticed in the jar that the web had disintergrated but I can still see the eggs clearly. I'm not sure if the spiderlings are dead inside them??
