Wildlife vet?

Look for Wildlife Rehabilitators/Organizations in your area. They are always looking for volunteers. Eventually you will get "Hands On" experiences. There are veterinarians who work at these Centers One is Dr. Erica Miller, I think. I believe she works in Virginia somewhere.. You might also contact the University of North Dakota. In veterinary school at Iowa State there was an option to work for a term in Wildlife Rehabilitation. I hope this is helpful. Check this out :http://www.nwrawildlife.org/content/nwra...

There really is no such profession as a wild life vet. Animals in the wild die, are injured or are prey to other animals.

What did you have in mind? Stopping predation?

You might wish to become a park ranger in Africa----but it pays little.

Vets in zoos do a great service, since few exiting vet wish to deal with exotics (animals that generally live in the wild in other countries).

For the type of vet you are talking about, the profession doesn't exist.

Wild life is just that - wild. No one will pay you to go out into the bush to fix deer, and squirrels.

Ok so I wanna look into becoming a wildlife vet but I wanna get experience first. Is there a place to go and learn and be around wild life I don't believe in zoos because most are very cruel to the animals and same with tiger world but if you know a good animal friendly place then please help:) thanks
