Wild rabbit acting strange, is it sick?

Yes, rabbits can get rabies. But it's rare, because usually the rabbit is killed by the rabies carrier (dog, fox, raccoon, etc.)

It seems quite possible that this rabbit has rabies. Call the local animal control people.

gosh, that's sad, but yes it does sound like rabies..

So, we have this female rabbit who has a nest in our yard, I haven't seen it, but when she goes back there I can hear her nursing babies.

Anyways, day before yesterday I noticed her acting weird. She walked right up to me, I said out loud "What are you doing?" She looked at me and walked right under my chair, across the porch, and fell off the step, which isn't high, and continued on her way. She seemed a little off balance. Saw her yesterday acting...I dunno, twitchy. It was missing some fur patches I assumed were from making her nest.

So today I see her and she's really off her rocker. She's trying to go up the wall, pawing at it and falling around, finds a way around finally(which is odd since she just had to walk two feet to the side), falls around and does circles, then starts running around as if something is chasing her. Middle of the day, I see no other rabbits or predators, she's running around my yard and down the street, across it...and acting kinda dizzy, though it's not extreme, it's just like she's off balance. She doesn't look injured, her legs are fine as I can clearly see when she walks or runs. She just seems off and not afraid of people.

Is there some illness that does this to rabbits? And do I need to be mindful of whatever this is passing to my dogs or cats? This rabbit likes to go into our back yard, and though or dog chases them, he wont kill them or eat them, but I am afraid if he sniffs and touches it or poo/pee he may get sick.
