If they are scared, they must have their eyes open and teeth in their mouths. They can eat solid food and run around. Young helpless bunnies are not scared.
If they can hop around and eat solid food, you can put them back and keep your dog away from them.
If you decide they are not ready for release, Kim gave excellent advice.
So two days ago my dog dug up a wild baby bunny nest and the dog chased the mom out of the yard as we are putting the babies back in the nest and putting the dried grass and fur over them and we waited two days for the mom to come take care of them but the nest didn't look like it was moved or the mom went to them, than today my dog decided to try and attack them again so we finally got a shoe box, put them in it and their nest. we don't know what to do.. their really scared and we don't know what to do. Please help!! How do you take care of them?? What do I feed them??
