Why is the Quokka the happiest animal on the planet?

because they get to live in Australia and are liked by people

It has a weird name, so it is probably not named after anybody famous. That means it does not have to live up to the expectations of an animal bearing a famous name. Therefore it can live a happy, obscure life, instead of having to live up to unreal expectations.

I have been looking around the internet and found many videos claiming that this marsupial is the happiest animal on the planet, but not one has discussed any scientific evidence for this claim. I want to know why it is considered the happiest, there is some basis to describe why some animals are happier than others. Bonobos have a particularly non-violent society due to their highly socialised culture and their promiscuous tendencies. Some animals happiness is based on a dietary choice, such as koalas who are high off eucalyptus leaves all day, or some primates which eat a plethora of bananas releasing a **** ton of serotonin. Please if you have any information on the this claim, or potential reasons why it might have sprung up let me know.

It is frustrating that often times people take interesting valid inquiries that could potentially be brought to the realm of science but they automatically assume that an experiment has been done, or that just a random claim is valid. People are too trusting. Were all going to die alone and people still base their livelihoods off of the brazen confident stupidity of others. Maybe we need another meteor. You dont hear the dinosaurs bitching about the dietary patterns of Quoakka. How come they get to be happy? ******* Quokkas.
