Sorry ...stray cats are mad at me. I used to get along with them until I thought they stole a $5 bill. Turns out, they didn't, Abe had been in my pocket for score. Anyways I yelled at them for several hours at least, in was so mad. I'm sorry meow cats!
Yesterday I saw a cat with a leash on its neck hiding underneath my bushes not sure if it was a male or a female when I opened the door it began staring at me and making these weird hissing sounds. It was also backing away from me as I was moving closer. I wanted to keep that cat so bad because it was cute and I felt sorry for it. I wanted to know why is that every stranger cat we see they run away from us especially feral cats. What have we done wrong that they are so intimidated by humans. I've seen plenty of stray dogs and they come close to you but when it's a cat they run away from us as if Moses has parted the Red Sea and everyone drowns in the water. What is the reason why cats fear humans I mean that cat had leash on its neck meaning that humans own that cat so why fear humans. Many times I imitate their mating rituals by bringing out a stuffed kitty toy and biting it on its neck trying to get their attention but it ends up running away. My question is despite of human contact why do stray/feral cats have to fear us?
