It happens to me too, I sit out back on my lunch break and this robin will hop around my seat, And i share my bread with it :), in my Garden cats will lie down or stroll past me without looking worried. I just put it to the fact ive a kind and honest nature maybe you do too.
I am a 20 year old male and over my life I have noticed animals and small children/babies act differently toward me. I notice household animals like to be around me, I or someone else with me has noticed small children and babies staring at me and frequently smiling. I was trimming the hedges and pit-bull came and just laid down in my yard right next to me. I was at my friends house sitting on the couch and her little cousin of like 5 years old sat next to me and didn't want to leave, and it was his bedtime. I notice wild animals tend to be similar as well. I could walk outside and I'd have to be feet away from a wild animal before I scare it off, sometimes wild animals will fly or run right past me.
