If the spider has ever crawled on you while sleeping(not very likely) it would just go on its way any how, and you would never know it happened.
I watched a house spider crawl onto my bed, what I didn't see was the cricket that became the spiders lunch, then the spider just crawled up the wall: (I named him Herman.)

Do worry it was only looking for it's breakfast, if you wake up tomorrow completely cocooned you're it.
Its my guess spiders can detect humans. Maybe smell or heat. The reason being where humans go so do flies. The spider wants to catch one for breakfast.
Wake up! Wake up! Stop dreaming!
I had just woken up at about 6 am and I saw this spider on the opposite side of the room to me crawling a long the side of the ceiling, I decided to watch where it was going. It got to the right hand corner of my room and then started crawling along the side of the ceiling to my right, I assumed it was heading towards the window on that wall but then when it got to the middle it turned and started crawling along the ceiling towards my bed (in the middle of the room), it got to directly above my pillow so I quickly moved to the other side of my bed, it purposely climbed down it's web and landed on my pillow. I jumped up and walked to the other side of my room and after a few seconds it climbed back up it's web and started crawling across the ceiling toward me again, why did the spider follow me and do you think it landed on me before while I was sleeping as I am usually not awake so early?
