Why aren't there any real photos of dinosaurs?

Because there weren't any good photographers around back then.

I *really* hope you're just trolling, or too young to know better and just happen to have immaculate grammatical abilities, Otherwise, you might want to go back to elementary and re-learn geography, history, and biology at a 3rd-grade level.

Dinosaurs first appeared ~230 million years ago (MYA), and were the dominant species from 200 MYA to the late Cretaceous Period 66 MYA, a period of about 135 million years.

Primates did not start walking upright until 6 MYA, and "modern" humans (biologically speaking) came into view around 2 MYA. The oldest photograph that still remains to this day is from 1826, a time when methods or developing the image were first being put into practice (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_... That was only about 200 years ago (rounded up) that the first cameras were capturing light and the first pictures developed. We would have to travel back in time with current technology (and come back) to produce a true picture of a dinosaur. An interesting notion, but not currently a feasible one based on current understanding of space-time. Will time travel ever happen? Nobody knows, but one thing is for certain: no photograph of a dinosaur exists.

Humans never walked with the dinosaurs, as you think of on Jurassic park or a Tyrannosaurus Rex fossil you see in a museum. The closest currently-living relatives are birds, looking at bone structures and now even at molecular similarities (http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/... This is the same molecular similarity that linked the Mastadon/ Wooley Mammoth of the most recent Ice Age to the modern day Pachyderm/ Elephant.

And if you happen to be a Creationist, may "God" have mercy on your ignorance to reality.

Try 65 million years ago. The camera was invented by humans, who have only been around for 100,000 years.

Cameras in those days required that the subject remained completely motionless for several minutes. Before very long all of the photographers who tried to keep a T Rex or Velocaraptor still had lost too many appendages to operate the equipment.

There are pics of them. fossil pics, and pics of their bones.

New theory says dinosaurs are still with us, as birds and many pics of birds exist

You are wrong... You do NOT know "quite a lot" about dinosaurs.

Go ask your minister.

I'm really fascinated in dinosaurs and know quite a lot about them. I just don't understand why people didn't take photos of them while they existed?

Obviously they don't exist anymore but they did a couple of hundred years ago
