It's the parents trying to protect it. Stay away and keep the dog on a leash meantime.
In my front lawn I found a baby bird, it couldn't fly and after that the other birds keep chasing me! It's still in my front lawn somewhere hiding, I have a Cocker spaniel and she goes crazy to catch these things! Should I just kill it? It keeps trying to fly but it can't and if i get close to it, they literally chase me to my front door and the chirp is and extremely high pitch, never heard it form them ever.
