If you would like to see hummingbirds in North Carolina, I'm afraid you won't see many. You see, there is only one type of hummingbird that comes around on the east coast of the U.S., which is called the Ruby Throated Hummingbird. What's worse is that they only come in the summer, when it's warm. Also, there's a rare chance, but you might see the Rufus Hummingbird, which would be off track.
And places? You can easily put up a hummingbird feeder in you backyard! But, if you would like discover a bit more, you can go to parks and wildlife refuges.
