Major places that have white squirrels are:
Marionville, Missouri
Brevard, North Carolina
Olney, Illinois
Kenton, Tennessee
Charlotte, North Carolina
They can live in any location squirrels live. Most are just albinos due to a lack of melanin... you just usually do not see them because they tend to be picked off by predators faster.
As far as those in Marionville... well those are in Missouri (just goggle it), but they have yet to figure out exactly what is going on with that population.

Marionville is located 15 minutes west of Springfield Missouri. Yes, they have white squirrels there. I grew up minutes away.
