When I look at a Zoo , I see a prison. (I guess it's just me) . I wish we could stop tearing down the Animals natural habitats .. and actually put them back together.
I do to go to the zoo, I fee so bad for all the animals there; unless they were hurt and needed to come live there to servive then it is ok if they can not make it on their own. Most fascinating would be the Elephant.
I find that the Siberian and Bengal tigers are always circling their enclosure. I find them amazing as they are normally fighting, swimming, jumping, leaping, snarling or even picking battles with the lions opposite them. The lions, are asleep, boring. Tigers are out in all weathers too. I find the gorillas amazing to watch, as they resemble traits of humans. One gave me a stick through the cage, and then I gave it back. The meerkats also acknowledge my presence, they're too cute. I've also hand fed fully grown tigers, rhinos, and monkeys. Plus; had a lion attempt to spray me.

Elephants. They're large and intriguing.
Lions Tiger and Bears oh my ;) yeah those plus polar bears.
I like watching the big cats more than anything else for some reason...I just like them
