You need to give them scratch feed a mixture of grains thats good for them and if have hens they need layer pellets this helps to produce the eggs and grit to help grind the foods they eat
Be sure to chop, mince, dice, shred or cook some of these foods for the birds they have no teeth so they need to swallow all foods hole or in chunks.Another thing when offering raw fruits or veggies be sure to wash the items very well to rid them of parasites, chemicals, dirt and all the hands that have touched the items as well....

Chickens usually eat most every thing but there are things they wont eat like onions, potato skins or sweet potato skins celery,bananas, .... My birds eat frogs lizards bugs mice spiders what ever crosses the yard is fair game for the chickens if a cricket even thinks about crossing thier yard its dinner for one of the girls.So with your birds this will be a trial and error time since the birds will let you know what they will and wont eat .

But for their main diet we feed them a mixture of bird seed and corn. You can actually buy massive bags of "chicken Mix" it has corn, bird seed and other goodies in there.
