What to feed a fledgling house sparrow?

They are basically seed eaters but the parents know to feed them some grits with those seeds. To be certain you must feed it four tiny stones just a bit smaller than a BB and follow each stone with one drop of water. Now you should feed it corn and peas from the can, no water is needed as they have plenty. As it grows start feeding it a variety of seeds from a wild bird seed mix follow every three seeds with a drop of water. Baby birds will not know you to be their parent so you may have to force open the beak to feed it till it knows you are food.

All right i was walking home from school and it was super windy . like hair going crazy , stuff flying . any way a my dad was in front of the house and found a house sparrow ( how do i know heheeh I love animals ,i read alot so yea.) and I know the whole story about how you need to leave it. blah blah yea tell that to the cats and dogs around here. but since i took it , ( had birds before ) and made it a place to sleep but i dont want it to die of hunger so i was wonderin g what can i feed it.

I dont have dog food or cat food . one i dont really like cats and i dont have a dog.

I know NOOOO MILK.

:)

I just want to take care of it , until the wind is gone its going to last about a week.

Please and thank you
