It's a Huntsman spider. They are only dangerous if you happen to be an insect. One species in Laos is the world's largest spider with a leg span of 12 inches or more.

Nice. It is indeed a huntsman spider. Those things are fast!

Saw it moving in my kitchen and then when I got close it stopped, I took a picture and then attempted to kill/catch it whichever was easier. I was unable to do either. Is it dangerous?
