I recently purchased two beautiful lovebirds from someone in the neighbourhood. They are both young but neither are particularly friendly. I'm not sure if they're meant to be tame. They're both sitting next to me in my room and I've got their cage door open so hopefully they feel comfortable? I know I could just grab them and hold them but I think that might be a setback in our bonding. I don't want them doing tricks or anything I just want them to let me hand feed them and cuddle them. Any suggestions?
