What should I do with baby chicks that have fallen from the collapsed nest in my backyard?

Leave it if the mom is there. If not, call the wildlife rehab. (The vet will say the same too) If you don't have one near you, you can always raise it. I'm sure its a common wild bird like a robin or sparrow. Keep the birds warm inside a box with a heating pad. You can feed it dry cat/dog food and mashed up oats. DON'T give it water! Baby birds don't drink water until they are full feathered. They will drown if you give it to them now. When he is full feathered, take him outside and teach him how to fly by putting him in a tree branch. Persuade him to come down with food like mother birds do. (it might take a while) Do that everyday until he can fly a distance. Then, you have to let them go. :( It's hard but it's best for them and for you. Good luck and have fun!

Do you have any interest in raising baby chicks?
