You can TRY keeping her warm and giving her some medication from the bird section of a pet store. Don't let her get in a draft. Give her a honey food stick t keep her energy up.
Fluffiness means they are cold. They could be cold and large droppings is normal. (: Maybe tired. If this continues and she gets worse, take her to the vet.
I have female two parakeet and one of them is acting really strange. Like she chirps and she eats but she's ALWAYS fluffy now, her droppings look abnormally large (not the usual simple seed like dropping), it takes her a long time to get up to the perch (our food and water dishes are at the bottom of the cage) and she can barley balance. I do see something off about her left foot but I'm not sure what it is because she moves to fast and when i take her out the cage she squirms.
What could be wrong? It's so unlike her, especially her droppings and constant fluffiness. What could I do at home before I get the time (and money) to take her to the vet?
