i've noticed that the carpenter bees in my backyard have gone away. but now i'm seeing these bees that are black w little white specks on them. It believe it some sort of carpenter bee bc it's very interested in the wood that's in front of my window (theres a sliding door/window w a piece of wood in front to insure no one falls out). there's only about 2 bees that i see. they don't seem intimidating but i'm just curious. thank you.
