That does not look like a species native to the United States. Therefore it can be almost anything, since there is no information on which country it came from. The vertical pupil is not a common feature among treefrogs. South American leaf frogs in the genus Phyllomedusa have vertical pupils but African treefrogs of the genus Leptopelis also have them. So it could be either Phyllomedusa or Leptopelis, or something else.

Can u tell by looking at the picture? Got him in the pet store but forgot the specie and i want to do some research on him :s
