The tiger beetle family, Cicindellidae, is cosmopolitan, meaning that is found on every continent (except Antarctica). In other words, it's not restricted to any one biogeographical region or regions.

According to the survey , 2,600 species and subspecies of tiger beetles are found in Oriental region ( i.e the southern part of Asia and most of the islands between Asia and Australia), followed by the Neotropics. Tiger beetles in the genus Manticora live primarily in the dry regions of southern Africa.

Cosmopolitan.
