It's some type of carpet beetle larvae. Either way, it's definitely not a moth or a butterfly. You can tell because of the number of "legs", the somewhat tear-shaped, segmented body.

It's not a millipede. It's a beetle larva, but what sort of beetle, I don't know.

So in all my years of living in Alberta i have only ever come across a few of these little guys, and always indoors! Just wondering if anyone had any idea what this thing turns into, its not the easiest to find a specific bug with Google using description alone haha. Please tell me it just turns into a moth and not something absolutely terrifying! Thanks
