What do lizards eat for breakfast?

Lizards don't eat special foods at certain times like humans do. They eat when they are hungry and have no concept of "breakfast". What a lizard eats depends on what sort of lizard it is. Most lizards in my experience are insectivores, while some of the larger guys can eat small birds and other small lizards, mice, etc... If you have a pet lizard, what sort of lizard is it? Many pet lizards eat crickets, mealworms or special lizard foods that come in little tablets or bite-sized morsels which you can buy at many pet stores. Others will eat earthworms, grasshoppers, maggots. Some larger lizards will eat bird eggs if they can find them. Some lizards, like the green iguana, are strictly herbivores (only eat plants) and will eat fruit, leaves and roots. It really depends on what sort of lizard you are talking about. :) If you want to know what to feed a specific type of lizard, go to a pet store with a photo of your lizard (if you're not sure of what type it is). There are pet stores that specialize only in reptiles. :)

It depends on which day of the week it is, and if they have to work that day.
