If it's a meat eater, then keep it outside in a cage on an elevated platform, in shade. It will fly off when it has rested enough.
If it did not fly off even after enough resting, then the bird may be injured.GIVE THE BIRD WATER AND FOOD. THEN TAKE IT TO A VET.
Put some warm towels in a shoebox with some holes in it. Carefully place the bird in the box and put it somewhere dark. Call a local shelter or wildlife centre and they will come tk pick it up, they can care for the bird. Hope this helps and good luck!
Let it rest then put it outside on an elevated place
A bird flew into my office earlier, and a co-worker who was here is scared of birds so she locked her in a room and ran away. When I got here the bird was lying on the floor not moving. I picked it up and tried letting it out the window, but it won't fly. I don't think it's injured, it just looks shocked. I put it on a piece of cardboard and it went to sleep. I want to let it out but I don't want it to die. What do I do with it?
I'm not really an animal person and I have no idea what to do
