You could take him to a vet or something? Or maybe leave him alone for a while and see if he flies away? Keep him in your house and nurse him back to health? I'd suggest putting him out of his misery if he stops being responsive though , but since he is hopping around and trying to escape then that would be my last suggestion... good luck :/

Find the nearest certified wildlife rehab person in your area and contact them.

Call the nearest Audubon society and ask them what to do.

My cat attacked this bird and now I but it in a box and I'm sitting with it it's trying to bite me and trying I escape he can't fly he just hops around I don't know what to do with him.
