killing an animal isn't necessarily cruelty. there are plenty of humane ways to kill animals. it's difficult to document animal cruelty (which doesn't always end in death) because so much of it goes undocumented.
I've seen lists that say which countries have the worst animal cruelty, but I never see a number on how many animals are killed in that country.
