What bird species is this?

Now, again, always post your country. So saying that, it looks like a Shining-bronze Cuckoo from Australia. Good id to Bulldog to type of bird.

Added: here's website that has a picture close to your bird... of Australian Cuckoos. http://www.carolinabirds.org/HTML/AU_Cuc...

Thanks everyone. I didn't take the photo, nor do I know what region this bird inhabits. The picture is a clue to an elaborate prank I'm a part of. Apparently all the animals in the attached picture have something in common that I have to figure out.

Based on the shape of the beak, my guess would be some species of fly catcher, but a country and state in which this photo was taken would be a tremendous help. If this photo was taken in the wild in North America, you may also try searching the link below.

I don't recognize it but it is a very good picture. It would be useful if you stated what state/country it is in.

I dont know but that is a beautiful little thing wow

It looks like some kind of cuckoo.
