We freeze egs, sperms, why not Mice?

just to comment: north american wood frogs are frozen in winter and they have cells, but they have adapted to this(buy filling their outer orgasm with a sugar fluid or something like that). but it would make sense for cells to rip apart since water expands. also cockroaches and many other insects can already survive being frozen and brought back so a mouse would be a better subject to test on.

eggs & sperm can be frozen as they are single cells and can be protected from the damage of freeze / thawing using antifreeze. A whole organism is more difficult as the cells are ripped apart when ice crystals form.

people may freeze brains but is doubtful they will ever be revived.

I read about sperms, eggs being frozen and successfuly defrosted and made perfectly normal ones.

I hear people are freezing their brains because freezing a full body is illeagal. The seemed confident they can preserve it too.

Why not they demonstrate this ability by sedating, freezing and reviving a mouse or cockroach?
