don't worry about that superstitious stuff for now. it means nothing really different species of birds are often curious so come have a look at what you are doing or even peck at your window. also if you pet it it might have stayed there for a while because it quite enjoyed you petting it and wanted more :) so don't worry if it comes back for a couple more days or something

Perhaps it was tired and resting and was rejuvenated by the kind attentions.

My dad pet the bird, then minutes later I per it and he was still there for a little and then he flew away. We thought he was hurt but he just let us pet him. Is this a sign of something? I'm not trolling I don't want shitty answers. Btw I live in nj and the bird was small, brown with red parts on this head
