Try calling animal control in your area and follow their instructions. It's illegal for you to try and raise it, but animal control will probably come pick up the baby to be raised and then released by professional animal rehabilitators. Or they may be able to find its nest and go from there. Either way, it can't hurt to try contacting them.

there's a baby bird in my back yard that is about an inch and a half long and has no feathers. I have three beagles so when I let them out, all three of them go straight to it and hover around it and I don't want then to hurt it. what do I do with the baby bird?!
