Oxen are also male cows, but they're specifically trained for working and castrated. A bull is a non-castrated male cow.

Bull

Bull

Bull.

Bull...and the female is cow. The species is Bovine. There is no such thing as a male cow. Cow is a generic term for the female of the species. What we refer to as "cows" are actually bovines...there are bull bovines (male) and cow bovines (female).

It is the Bull;

Ox is an eunuch -- forcibly made so, by means of castration

Bull as in bull fight.
