maybe you're allergic to something
I live in florida and Ive been hiking through some woods lately to get to a fishing spot. There was a overgrown trail behind my friends house and one of his neighbors went back there with a weed eater and completely brought the trail back to life.
So four of my friends and I went back there to fish and we did not feel any bites or saw any bugs. Then two days later little red bumps on our legs started to itch. All five of us got the same thing. My friend keeps saying it is poison ivy but the bites do not blister they are just small reddish and itchy. Also we did not touch any plants and I did not notice any poison ivy.
I stayed away from the trail for about a week but I recently went back to fish and I made sure this time I didn't touch anything and walked through it. The same thing happened but this time I even got a little red bite on my stomach and legs.
I am curious if anyone might know what it is?
