This will make little difference for your fear, and sadly, you won't likely resolve your fear as soon as you like.
You can rest assured the spiders will not pose any threat to you or bother you while sleeping.
Locking yourself in your room is useless, and nothing more than giving in to your fear.
I really hate to see people needlessly fear spiders, I have lived with them for over 50 years.
Perhaps this may help:

Calm down :) There is no need to worry, if your phobia is too strong and you can't go out of your room, you can call someone on phone , for example your friend, roommate, someone you can trust :) They will definetely help you :) Secondly you should buy some chemicals which should be effective against insects and ask your friend to clear the areas with spiders with that chemicals.. )
Omg I feel for you ... You never know you could tread on one or they could be above your head if you walk out so don't do that... Ring a friend of a relative?
Or go out the door with smashing objects in your hand
Man up, get some spray and spray em with it. Kill em dead!
Everyone else who lives in my house is on holiday and I think there's a nest behind a wall. It started by 4 or 5 little spiders coming out from the door frame but then 3 huge, hand sized ones crawled out. I killed one but two are on the loose downstairs. I've been locked in my room for 12 hours and I don't know what to do because spiders just keep coming out the wall
