The other day I found a bug sitting in a book I had just taken out of the library. At first I thought it was a wood tick, but upon closer inspection I realized it was slightly smaller, black, and had claws.
I asked my mom if she knew what it was, and she said she didn't, but has seen one in the bathroom and one in the basement.
Any ideas on what it might be? It gave me a good spook :-(
