If u want to u can, but don't need to. Most people get another budgie because their other one is bored or they want to start breeding. U and ur first budgie might not have the same relationship as u do now. The first one might get JELOUS of the new one or u might be JELOUS about how much time they might spend together. Sometimes they just don't get along. U seem to love ur budgie so much, it would be nice to have another one.

ive had my budgie for about 4 months already, and i dont know if i should get another budgie. should i wait to see if my budgie will bond with me and then see if i shoud get one? i really want to bond with him, but i know i wont be able to if there is another bird.

my bird isnt scared of me. he rides on my shoulder really often. i also taught him to: shake, step up, target, and im working on kiss and hello right now.
