It might also help to gradually bring the cages closer together (keep enough distance so there is no way of them touching the other) so they get use to sharing space
Throw them in together. They might fight or ignore each other for a spell, but keep it monitored an you should be fine. Even breeding pairs peck and squak at each other. It's part of their nature. Give them a week and they'll be fine.
corinne is right. you should do that. but about the biting their feet and beaks, i dont think thats a problem. when i got a new bird, my bird LOVED him and for some reason would still bite his feet when he sat on her cage. but she LOVED him so idk why she did that.
I have two budgies and I have had one for about 2 years and I just got a new one a few months ago. I have them in seperate cages becasue whenever one gets out of their cage they go to the other ones cage and hang on to the bars and when the other one comes close they bite each others feet and beak and I don't know if I should try letting them both out outside of the cage because I don't want either of them to hurt the other one. I am hoping to get them both into one cage what should I do?
