Seemingly a pointlessly cranky young male cockatiel??? Please help!?

It's maybe his way of showing he still wants to be hand-fed, as you've only stopped that routine 3 days ago. Is it possible he may have hurt himself and doesn't want you to touch the area that is hurting?

Birds get hormonal. He will get over it in a week or so.

So, my male cockatiel, about 14-15 weeks old now, is.. Getting a little cranky? I have no idea why! He is perfectly healthy, happy. He has good food and a clean cage and PLENTY of attention and time to roam around my bedroom.. But recently, he was weaned off of being hand-fed, about three days ago. And now, I'll pet him and rub him like I used to, (on his back/head/neck/under his beak) and he acts like he is going to bite me and screams at me, AND anyone else who pets him(my family)? I'll tell him no and put him up in his cage, but.. I don't understand.. Please help! I read that cockatiels shouldn't get too aggressive if they are going through, like, uh, sexual maturity or something like that... Anyways, please help!

Also, we've had him for months now, and I've bonded with him and everything... I still don't understand why, exactly he would be acting like this. Another thing, we THINK "he", is a "he" we are not even sure. We just think he acts like that, and the breeder thought he might be. That might be helpful info?
