Renting zoo animals?

Most respectable zoos don't rent out their animals. If they do, I bet an elephant would cost you $500 an hour, four hours minimum. Perhaps half that for the giraffe or koala. Peacocks are cheap, because you don't need a handler; I would guess $20 a day. Or just buy the things for $200 each, adult.

Fuhgeddaboudit! You might be able to get an elephant, giraffe, or peacock but koalas are protected. Few zoos have them and there is no way they would rent them out to a layman with too much money. Besides, they stink of eucalyptus. The koalas, not the humans.

I suppose someone rents these animals to movie producers, but they will want lots more money from private parties, unless you can convince them that you are skilled in the proper care and safety connected with handling these large animals. Transporting them even 50 feet is expensive, as it is unlikely you have a suitable vehicle for either an elephant or giraffe.

I think they have a groupon for that, but you might have to add in a pterodactyl and an octopus.

I want to rent an elephant, (2?) giraffe(s), a koala and maybe like a peacock/?(some sort of bird) for an evening. How much would this cost in Southern California? Please price each animal independently :) thank you
