it may be a good idea to move the budgies into your house, or maybe block the chickens from getting too close to the budgie's cage, maybe using a small fence or something like that.

You need to know if the chickens are scaring the female and her eggs if she isn't incubating then that's a problem. Move them to a different and save location for about a month till the babies are big.

I keep my budgies outside in the backyard, since i heard that sunlight and time outside the house if healthy for budgies, but my five chickens also nap and rest there,under the animal tent that was constructed for shade, when they aren't roaming the backyard. However, the chickens like to jump onto the cage way too much and disturb the egg-laying female and scaring her!! Please help! Is there some kind of budgie-safe chicken repellent or something? I really need some advice for my situation!
