It's not a spider, it's a solpugid which is a relative of the spiders. Sometimes they are called camel spiders or sun spiders.
This video much explains these, although they are provoking the little guy a bit.
They produce no venom, but they can give quite a pinch with those jaws if mishandled.
We call them sun spiders here in the southwest US.
