My lovebird has a crooked beak?

Crooked beaks can be a problem because it causes them trouble with eating properly. I suggest a vet visit for a consult about it to put your mind at ease. The bird vet is most qualified to assess your bird's situation.

My two year old pet bird has had a crooked beak for about half a year now. I'm not sure how it started; it just did... :( He was eating normally, and everything seemed to be okay, so I didn't think to take him to a vet. Recently, though, I stumbled upon a few articles on the web saying that crooked beaks can get worse and can be fatal for a bird. The thing is, my bird's been fine for half a year already, and I haven't seen a change in his beak, but now that I've read those articles, I've started to really worry about him.

I need some people that have experience with these kinds of things to answer my questions: Should I bring my bird to the vet? Does every crooked beak get worse with time, and is there a permanent solution to fix his beak?

Thank you SO MUCH for reading this. I really need some help...
