My conure eats some seeds, no pellets, and peaches...?

I've owned many birds over the years...they are addicted to sun flower seeds....it is like a street drug to them. But keeping a bird on a diet of just one thing is not good for him either. My Jenday Conure likes raw kale, the center of a hard boil egg (the yolk totally cooled down......this should not seen as cannibalism of some weird sort....believe it or not birds are weaned on a type of this. They also love fresh apples, cut in slices (the sweeter the better....mine likes Pink Lady apples but I had to experiment a bit with different types of apples. You should not be upset if you are feeding your bird more fresh fruit.....it is actually a fresh version of pelletized food. I do feed him the mix you mentioned by Kaytee but he will pick thru it and throw a lot out...but I do notice from time to time that he eats quite a bit of it thru out the day. I also buy separately a bag of sunflower seeds. This bag ONLY has sun flower seeds in it.

My Conure may actually be looking fat lately :)

I just purchased a Pineapple conure. He was on these dyed pellets which seemed to give him red, runny droppings. Since I've had him, his stool has solidified more and gone to more of a natural color. He LOVES peaches (I have to give him a slice every evening), and I give him the only seed mix I could find with pellets (Kaytee Rainforest Foraging mix), which is mostly seed and a few nuts, dried fruit, and very few pellets. He seems to only eat the small seeds (I think they're millet but I can't tell), and the peaches. Is this healthy? Should I be concerned he's not eating the pellets, large seeds, nuts, or dried fruit? Do I need to special order a more pellet-based food? Any help? He's my first conure, I've had only a cockatiel and parakeet before. Thanks!
