Budgies should be kept alone. Two budgies bond with each other. Not with you. Budgies don't get lonely if you only have one. You won't be able to teach them much of anything now, with two of them.

A few months back i got two budgies & they still haven't bonded w/ me. they will perch on my hand and eat from it but only if i fast them a few hours before. whenever i put my hand in the cage w/o food they climb to the farthest corner w/ wide eyes & beating hearts until i leave. i really want to be able to bond w/ them, take them out of their cage & spend time w/ them but they dont seem to have the same interests. please help ????
