My Two Budgies Keep plucking theirselve everywhere.?

Help! they are both plucking their selves every where but without any wing dropings.

Wat does that mean? or is it deadly?

yup, it COULD be mites. Put some white paper at the bottom of the cage. if you notice little specks after a day or two, mites are one of the issues. also, their feet will be scaly if it's mites. Dry looking. Lots of the time, it's plain old boredom, or stress. Do they have enough toys? have you changed their food brand? put their cage in a different spot? gotten a new pet? is your schedule different lately? is their cage on the ground instead of high up? are they getting enough attention from you? So many things could be the issue. Google it. And, if all the things you try don't work, a vet visit may be in order because plucking sometimes is a health issue. Get them new shredding toys to keep them busy. If they are happy birds, usually they'll stop the plucking. And I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but they Can die from mites... Best of luck to you and your little guys!

Aunty is correct. Use mite spray on your birds just in case they have mites. Also make sure they have toys....swings, mirrors, etc. If you have a male and female they may want to breed but have no nesting box. Some birds will pluck their own feathers to "feather their nest" for babies.

Could be a mite problem, or boredom.
