Chances are that the eggs drowned before you rotated them. For future reference, the sphagnum is an excellent substrate but yours looks a bit too wet. It should be barely damp. And you don't want airholes in the container. Better luck next time.

Sometimes me and my friends go down to this ditch in front of my house and catch turtles we put the babies inside in my tanks and the adults in my 1000 gallon pond well about a week ago I was cleaning out the filter and discovered five musk turtle/stinkpot eggs well I picked up the eggs and put them in a container (as shone) it has been a week and I have have candled them twice so then I start doing some research and figure out you aren't supposed to turn them upside down so I am like oh crap so should I just throw them away or wait and see what happens also there are little dots inside three of the eggs what does that mean plz answer my question because I am very concerned.
